Originally known as the New Yardbirds, Jimmy Page’s previous band. The band changed its name when they realized they had sound that was all their own. They also joked that they would go down like a Led Balloon. Jimmy Page broke his finger before the tour which led him to develop a 3 finger playing style. The band is known as one of the greatest bands of all time, and some people believe Jimmy Page is the greatest guitarist of all time. That debate will last a lifetime.
